MONEY IN THE BANK
Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match = Seth Freakin' Rollins vs. Omos vs. Riddle vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus vs. Madcap Moss vs. Samy Zayn vs Theory
In what can only be a Vince audible, Theory was just added to the match! So many unbelievable moments. Riddle was incredible with 2 moments of the year! Sheamus & McIntyre have such awesome chemistry. Theory is playing his role perfectly. WINNER = Theory GRADES = Coach = A+; Tantor = A+ Raw Women's Championship = Bianca Belair (c) vs. Carmella
When Carmella came in as all things considered as a last minute replacement without altering the plans of the Women's MITB match, most kind of knew what to expect. So the loss of anticipated drama hurt the match. For Tantor's sake, it was not a squash. WINNER = Bianca Belair GRADES = Coach = C; Tantor = C; Spaulding = C |
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match = Alexa Bliss vs. Liv Morgan vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Shotzi vs. Asaka vs. Lacey Evans vs. Becky Lynch
Lots of fun to open the show. Exactly what it should have been. Rodriguez built to show her superior strength. Shotzi shown as the new extreme artist. Becky also showed she can take a spot (multiple) with the best of them. Perfect finish with the sentimental favorite, Liv Morgan knocking off the frustrated always coming up just short, Becky Lynch. WINNER = LIV MORGAN GRADES: Coach = A; Tantor = A; Spaulding = B+ United States Championship = Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
LOVE how the crowd was fully behind Bobby Lashley. Perfectly scripted match. Can't believe I have to say that. Bobby clearly the stronger/superior competitor. Usually I complain about the script not the superstar. Theory showed his star power, but the Hurt Lock is real. WINNER = BOBBY LASHLEY GRADES: Coach = B+; Tantor = B; Spaulding = B Undisputed Tag Team Championship = The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits
Performer of the night - Montez Ford. Wow. What a match! Street Profits deserved the win. Incredible match from build up to all the spots to the finish. WINNERS = The Usos GRADES = Coach = A+; Tantor = A+; Spaulding = A+ Smackdown Women's Championship = Rhonda Rousey (c) vs. Natalya
I like how they showed each being a submission specialist. Throw in their "personal rivalry" and the story of the match worked. WINNER = Rhonda Rousey GRADES = Coach = B; Tantor = B Smackdown Women's Cash In = Rhonda Rousey (c) vs. Liv Morgan Seeing Rhonda weakened and possibly injured with her knee, Liv Morgan didn't wait long to cash in. WINNER = Liv Morgan GRADES = Coach = A; Tantor = A+ |
HELL IN A CELL
Raw Women’s Championship – Overall excellent match and an excellent way to start the Premium Live Event known as Hell In A Cell. With that said, this would have been a perfect match to put in the title of the live event! All three competitors brought their best and each had their moments to shine. In what could have been a very predictable finish, WWE flirted with many other opportunities making you believe that maybe, just maybe the obvious wouldn’t happen… giving you that false sense of hope. In the end, after throwing Becky out of the ring, Bianca Belair did as expected and covered Asaka to retain her Raw Women’s Championship.
Winner – Bianca Belair
Grade – A+
What’s Next – Bianca will carry her championship to Money in the Bank. Becky and Asaka will more than likely participate in the actual MITB ladder match.

Bobby Lashley vs. Omos and MVP – Everything I said about predictability above, is not true here. Especially when Bobby Lashley was in a one on tag match, not even a true handicapped match. If this match is going to take it to the next level Bobby needed to either slam Omos or lock in the Hurt Lock. Neither happened. Instead, MVP submitted.
Winner – Bobby Lashley
Grade – C
What’s Next – Hopefully this is it for this rivalry. Probably not. If it is, Bobby Lashley should move to either the MITB ladder match or straight to the top to meet Roman Reigns. Omos will go back to being the midcard big man. Maybe even as a little foreshadowing as he will beat up on Cedric Alexander.

Kevin Owens vs. Ezekiel – WWE missed a huge opportunity here – winner gets naming rights to Ezekiel. The former Elias, dressed as a cross between the Ultimate Warrior and the Macho Man, made his first Premium Live Event. So here Ezekiel/Elias goes through a year long rebranding process and in his first headline match, he receives the three second tan. We may want to Walk With Elias, but Ezekiel has made no difference.
Winner – Kevin Owens
Grade – B (could have been greater if Ezekiel had won)
What’s Next – KO basically does what he wants and what’s good for the company. He can easily be one of the eight in the MITB match. Ezekiel, back to mid-card obscurity.

AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan vs. The Judgement Day – By far, my newest favorite stable in the making is not even a true stable at all. Styles, Balor and Morgan have some serious chemistry forming. Styles and Balor carried the match while the most underrated superstar of the six, Morgan, had many of spots to showcase her talents. Including being springboarded by her own team onto Rhea Ripley. Edge and company still lack something to push them fully over. But WWE wanting to make them a strength had The Judgement Day come out on top to strengthen their brand.
Winner – The Judgement Day
Grade – B+
What’s Next – Am I the only who wants to see Styles, Balor and Morgan continue as new stable!!! The Judgement Day will continue to build their brand.

Madcap Moss vs. Happy Corbin – First, can we all recognize how great of a heel Corbin actually is. My gut tells me he does not get enough respect outside of the locker room of what he brings to the table! The rivalry came to its epic conclusion in a very symbolic finish. Madcap Moss broke even further away from the Corbin persona by changing his ring attire (thank you!).
Winner – Madcap Moss
Grade – B+
What’s Next – Corbin will continue being the second greatest heel on Smackdown, only behind Reigns. How cool would it be if we could see Madcap Moss challenge Gunther.

Mustafa Ali vs. Theory – With all due respect to both superstars, this storyline and match just has not peaked my interest. Both competitors had high flying moments and the finish was correct as Theory retained his United States championship, but it simply just did not appeal to me.
Winner – Theory
Grade – C
What’s Next – This story probably is not done. Throw in Ciampa into the mix is more than likely.

Hell in a Cell Match – As the entire internet knows by now, Cody left it in the ring last night. Given the situation, both superstars, especially Seth Freakin’ Rollins, need to be highly commended maneuvering each other throughout the cell match. WWE should have changed their planned finish given Rhodes’ torn pectoral. Great seeing a tribute to Dusty with the cowbell and you have to love Rollins showing up in a Dusty-like polkadotted attire.
Winner – Cody Rhodes
Grade – A
What’s Next – Cody, do we have to wait till the Rumble to see you again? Seth is more of an interesting situation. As the main heel on Raw, what’s next for him without a primary championship on Raw is a greater mystery.
Winner – Bianca Belair
Grade – A+
What’s Next – Bianca will carry her championship to Money in the Bank. Becky and Asaka will more than likely participate in the actual MITB ladder match.
